In Greek mythology, Atlas is the name of God forced to carry the Earth, it also designates the cervical spine that supports the head.

アトラスはギリシャ神話に登場する地球を支える事を余儀なくされた神の名前、同時に頭を支える頸椎の名前にもなっている。
